The Furry Raiders Part 2
I am going to continue on with the idea that I am going to go off my friend, DogPatchPress who has kept records of the situation with Foxler and make corrections from my previous post.
The Rabbit Hole of Foxler
Now I have met Foxler maybe twice or once on a few different sites and one in person where I was at StarFest, he had been requested to remove his armband, which is not to say wrong. I did agree with the request as it did remind people of something quite negative and also his group had recently been chased out of a Fur Meet, the girl in question who did request told me about it.
While I am going to remind the audience I am a NEUTRAL PARTY! I am not someone who took the side, but I agreed with the girl that the request should ahve been heeded and Foxler should have removed the armband and also himself from the convention.
Now I'm going to list links of the Furry Raiders on Wikifur and their twitter.
Link1: Furry Raiders
Link 2: Furry Raiders Twitter
Now as a nonfur who might read my blog, you will find that these sites may list two different forms of information regarding the group!
Also, for the most part, the group has moved away from Twitter to telegram in recent years and while I don't present that information, I don't have access so, yeah no! I am also not going to post personal information that is from members and former members who have since disassociated.
One of the issues I had with Foxler is his connection to a certain furry that had a background in being a known pedophile. This had me question any of the validity of the group and their intention, mot times some of the group actually didn't even know this information and were so into protecting their leader. This is where another issue came up on Twitter.
This one was from a twitter user who I will not name claiming he or she would punch a NAZI fur. This is something that the group used to their advantage and made fun of her, they also used the fact that it also harkened on their first amendment rights as a well. The truth is, that both sides handled this horribly, even myself who sided with the option of not backing up Foxler or the group's reasons for calling it out.
For starters, my grandfather was a World War II vetran who hated Nazis and was quite vocal, and it kind of went toward me, causing me to become one sided and I had to back the hell down.
Later DogPatchPress released a lot of information on Foxler and some of it is on going to this day.
I want to thank DogPatchPress who actually posted this and gave me permission to post it on this commentary blog. So here we go, this is the crimes of one Foxler!

Now the read is lengthy and oh my lord and lady, here we go, and it's a Rabbit Hole and a deep one, I am not going to be pushing the entire read, but I will be quoting it.
From the page:
In 2019, Denver police arrested Furry Raiders founder Lee “Foxler” Miller. He was charged for sex offenses with a child that took place in 2015.
New court documents show how Miller’s inner circle tried to undermine the case by intimidating a witness. If the plan worked, the witness would be lured into a trap, framed, harassed and extorted, and pulled out of Miller’s case. Dogpatch Press would be baited into false reporting to hurt the victim.
Now the information given is so bad that I was only able to just type up this without feeling like I want to strangle the nearest person who associated. I was lucky my friend Pnut and a few others who are former members are able to clarify that they had NO IDEA WHO FOXLER WAS! This also led to some members who found out about the 2015 incident to stop being members.
What led me to this conclusion was that many furries who enjoyed that sense of community were now so upset that they'd actually yell at their own group about it.
Foxler and Kahuki
Now, this is my connection and I am going to make this evident that I for one am not friends or was ever close to Kahuki. In truth, while he was nice and pleasant, I knew very little of his past and I for one was not associated with anyone in the Fur Fandom for little over a few years, I started my adventures in 2007 when I was invited to RMFC (Rocky Mountain Fur Con). I met Kahuki who was referenced by a friend as a FOUNDER!
I later realized that this person was someone I needed to keep my eyes on, he was someone I could not trust, someone I could not entirely understand either. What transpired between 2009 to 2015 was certainly a take on the matter of what happened between Kahuki who is persona no grata and Foxler.
To put it mildly, anyone who has gone to RMFC since that time would know that Kahuki had lost his house, had lived in various places, lost a job, and well...his secret became known to all. The then con chair of RMFC had to play secret service and keep this person's past a secret. While I will say this, even I didn't know until a few furries in fact told me.
Foxler who became friends with Kahuki was not exactly clean of this either, his past, as you saw in the article above, proved one factor of the story. Kahuki and Foxler had their paws in the end of a convention and also a huge divide in the Colorado Fur Community that is STILL there. I have to put caps in this because there are still furries that back Kahuki and Foxler and these people have blocked out or just plainly ignored it.
The furs who have called it out have basically did so at their own risk, and it starts to unravel our argument when it comes to what the hell the Fur Fandom is all about. Are we a fandom that allows those to relive their childhood dreams of being the anthro characters they created or do we have people who are not to be trusted in our collective group.
I since pulled myself out of the group and founded my own Furry group of friends, we are just there to have fun, we're not there to harm others. We don't meet in person and we meet online through Telegram or just through FB. We are a group of Nature Photographers and to this we are very selective of who we let in. Foxler and Kahuki taught us that lesson, we don't want to cause a problem.
The Lead up to DenFur and Foxler's Ban
While I can say a new convention in Colorado took over where Rocky Mountain Fur Con left open, a new group of Furries have taken up their cause. The group called DenFur who have a great deal of love and joy in the community have a great leader who has and will continue the work, she made it a mission to create a community again. I personally enjoy her showing up.
But Foxler has found he is not welcome within that group, he has also found that many of his followers have abandoned him. The fandom has destroyed itself and I will be posting more links from DogPatch and many more that I found and remember.
The most interesting is the story of Foxler showing up to DenFur to find he had been called out, and arrested at the hotel. He was not going to show for the con, he was not going to be in his normal form of a human! He was out right informed that he was banned and would be arrested if he showed yet again. This again was the most active work that anyone had done since RMFC.
Do you really think that ended Furry Raiders? Nope, and I will come to the conclusion in another entry of this series which is Part 3.
I want to thank Pnut and DOgPatchPress for helping me.
